I finished my first 1.5 meter long section of absorber roof today. Ill post pictures tomorrow when i get it out in the sun.

I have done some temperature measurements  using different surface coatings.

They were taken during a period of full sun on the 9th of April at a latitude of 37° 50′S .

Each absorber tube had a K type thermocouple sealed in. The tube was empty (full of air).

Maximum temperatures achieved-

- Bare aluminum/not coated 82 degrees C

- Anodized black 103 degrees C

- Selective surface paint 115 degrees C
